First off, thank you so much for checking out my site! Sharing my wellness journey has become my passion. I hope to inspire others to live their truth and discover their greatest potential. Here I share what I have found has helped me along my path.
I grew up with strong attention to health (thanks, Mama!), but at some point in my teenage years that all changed. I was addicted to cigarettes by the time I could drive, my diet consisted mainly of fast-food, I was underweight, out of shape, very depressed, I could go on and on.
I started my first year of college in 2010. I was so nutrient deficient that I was constantly sick, in and out of urgent care and the emergency room for most of my freshman year. By my sophomore year, I had a chronic kidney infection, I felt awful, I was weak, and I was struggling with very real depression. I had to move back home with my Mom.
At the time, I don’t think I understood how bad my situation was or how unhappy I was. But moving home just made sense.
I transferred schools, got a job, and starting envisioning what I wanted my life to look like. I’ve learned a lot, mainly by making mistakes. There is still so much more to learn and so much more growth to be had.
Nowadays I am happy, healthy, and constantly on the pursuit of finding ways to live my most abundant life, while staying balanced. I currently live in a small, picturesque, Alabama town with my husband and two fur-babies. I’m a part-time artist, part-time artist part-time office manager for my husband’s Chiropractic practice, part-time yoga teacher, and full-time wanna-be blogger.
